Presents

MS 101

A diagnosis of multiple sclerosis can raise many questions and concerns. You may feel isolated and scared, wondering how to cope with the ongoing concerns of a chronic disease. Your medical needs will be addressed and followed by your personal neurologist and your doctor will be the core of your MS treatment management. However, concerns will arise outside the scope of a medical practice. The MS 101 Workshop not only informs you about MS, but also teaches you strategies to successfully manage your MS as well as learn ways to cope with any emotional and/or physicalaspects of the disease. It is our hope that this series will arm you with the knowledge needed to succeed in the management of your MS and, more importantly, help you live your lifeto the fullest!

Our four (4) hour MS 101 course will cover the following topics:

* Basics of MS (What is MS, Common Symptoms)
* Making the most of your office visits
* Treatment options
* Managing symptoms and relapses
* Coping with the diagnosis
* Disclosure of diagnosis
* Employment issues
