Patient Financial Assistance Programs

The Center strives to help individuals with MS find financial assistance through national and local resources. Patients are assisted through our Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Executive Director in finding help with the following:

. MRI Assistance through the MRI Institute of the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America to help with all or some of the costs of obtaining an MRI.

. Prescription assistance to assist individuals with MS who are uninsured or underinsured to obtain medications. Assistance is provided by identifying patient assistance programs offered by pharmaceutical companies, obtaining application forms, completing application forms, and sending all application forms and financial documentation to the various pharmaceutical companies.
. Assistance with locating sources for adaptive equipment and applying for funding for this equipment, if needed.
. Connecting individuals with funding sources such as the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.
. Assistance with a variety of issues such as housing, food stamps, federal/state financial assistance, SSDI/SSI, employment matters, home modifications, etc. on a case by case basis.
